Computer monitor faults are divided into soft faults and hard faults. When the monitor cannot display normally, you should first briefly analyze where the fault lies, whether it is a software setting problem or a broken internal circuit of the monitor, and then determine whether it needs to be shipped. build. According to the fault classification of the display, there are the following fault phenomena:
1. Black screen
When I turn on the computer, no image appears after a few minutes. At this time, you should first check whether the power indicator light on the monitor panel is on. If it doesn't light up, check whether the monitor's power plug is connected properly. If the power cord is plugged in well (make sure the power socket has power, you can try another socket), and the power switch is on, but the monitor indicator light does not light up, it means that the internal circuit of the monitor is faulty, and you should send it to the hospital at this time. Dedicated maintenance department for repairs.
If the monitor's power indicator light is on, you should restart the computer and pay attention to whether the indicator light of the host computer is flashing and whether there is a "beep" sound in the host computer. If there is, it means that the computer has started normally. At this time, you should check whether the signal line connection between the monitor and the host is normal, whether the 15-pin D-shaped plug connected to the host is loose, and whether the pins in the plug are broken, crooked, short, etc. If the connection is normal, it means there is something wrong inside the monitor and it should be sent for repair.
The energy-saving display will automatically work in the corresponding state and mode according to the horizontal and vertical synchronization signals sent by the host, and the indicator lights on the panel will indicate the corresponding state at the same time. Usually orange flashing - shut down or sleep, orange - hang, yellow - waiting, green - normal display.
When the monitor screen is black and it is not the fault of the host after careful inspection, it is best not to power on the monitor continuously or for a long time to avoid expanding the fault.
2. Huaping
Usually it is because the monitor does not support the display mode sent by the host, which is often higher than the display mode of the monitor, causing the image on the screen to be confused and making it impossible to see the images and text on the screen clearly. If it is a monitor with automatic mode recognition, the screen may be black, but the indicator light below the panel is green. At this time, restart to restore. If this method does not work, you can delete the graphics card driver and then reinstall the graphics card driver. Also, when the graphics card memory fails, the display at a fixed location on the screen may appear chaotic, while other places may display normally. There are also cases where the graphics card is damaged and causes blurry screen.
3. Lack of color
What is more obvious is the lack of red or yellow (or blue), or the colors may be confused, but the image details are clear. At this time, if you look at the monitor for a little longer, your eyes will feel very uncomfortable and stinging. At this time, after shutting down, you can check the connection plug between the monitor and the host to see if the pins inside are broken (not all missing, but present, but only half exposed), loose or crooked (deflected in the side or connected with other needles). (Note: Monitors and hosts usually use 15-pin D-shaped plugs. Generally, only pin 11 is used. Pins 5, 9, 11, and 12 will be empty. We don't need to be surprised. Don't artificially use pins to fill the missing pins. together). Then check whether the graphics card is loose. If there are no problems with these but the color is still missing, the monitor can be sent for repair.
When the entire screen appears red, green or blue, the internal circuit of the monitor must be broken.
4. Color blocks
If there are irregular color blocks on the monitor screen, you should check whether there are magnetic objects around the monitor, such as radios, mobile phones, CD players, magnetic screwdrivers, speakers, etc. Also be careful not to place monitors too close to air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, TVs and other household appliances.
If the monitor is magnetized, you can use the monitor's manual degaussing function (Degauss) to demagnetize it. If the monitor has not been manually degaussed, you can turn the monitor off for 30 minutes or more and then turn it on again. Repeat the above process two to three times.
