2. Classification by type of picture tube:
(1) Spherical picture tube: The defects of the spherical picture tube are very obvious. It is curved in both horizontal and vertical directions, and the corner distortion is serious. (2) Cylindrical picture tube: The cylindrical picture tube adopts a grid-type shadow mask, which does not have any bend in the vertical direction and has a slight curvature in the horizontal direction. (3) Flat picture tube: Flat picture tube is the development direction of CRT color display. Flat picture tube realizes a true plane in both horizontal and vertical directions. Distortion and reflection are reduced to the minimum, which makes the focus range during viewing increase.
